Company Secretary (India) is a qualified secretary of Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Prerequisite for membership are successful completion of the institute’s theory and practical training exams. Company secretaries are required for every Indian Company listing on the stock exchange, public or private, with share capital of Rs 10 crores or higher.
As a qualified professional, a company secretary is required to perform the duties enumerated by the Institute for organisations engaged in manufacturing or service for ensuring proper compliance with legal and taxation-related controls to be followed through the course of its operations. These policies clear any ambiguities for the organisations in the maintenance of their books of accounts. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India has 64,000 Company Secretaries.

CA Foundation is the entry level test to pursue the Chartered Accountancy course, students after XII can register for such course.
After registration, they have to undergo a four months study period to appear in the CA Foundation Exam.

Who Can Apply
Eligibility:
1. 10+2 Pass (HSC) of any Stream either Regular or Distance Mode from the recognized by either State or Central Government Institution/Board.
2. Since 1st January 2021, even X Std. passed, XI Std. students also may register for CA Foundation; but, they can appear for the exam only after appearing in XII Board Exams or Passing the same. CA classes in Indore, CA Foundation classes in Indore
3. CA Foundation Pass / UG or PG in Commerce Stream with 55% aggregate of marks (excluding Language Papers) and Non-Commerce students with 60% of marks (excluding Language Papers) / CMA Inter Pass / CS Executive Pass.
